NEW for 2013:

Inspired by Dick Shaffer, a Borodino triathlete who passed away from cancer in 2006, his family created the ride to celebrate his "never give up spirit" and to encourage others fighting cancer.

Building on the Shaffer family years of success, SkanRaces.com continued the ride beginning in 2010. Starting in 2013, the Onondaga Cycling Club will now lead the way forward, conducting the ride on a different weekend.
