Start area: Adjacent to the southern pedestrian bridge to Austin Park.
Finish Line: Located on baseball field adjacent to the Austin Park Pavilion on Jordan Street.

Race Description: The Skaneateles 5K Road Race starts on State Street at Austin Park and goes off just minutes before the Labor Day Parade. Runners pass cheering crowds as they run the parade route on State St which is basically downhill, right on Genesee St and then right on Jordan Street. The run course then turns left on Austin St and right onto Fennell St which is flat and fast. The Road Race course turns right on Seneca Turnpike and go up a short hill and then right onto Jordan Road. Runners now turn left on Butters Farm and face another steep hill. After the hill runners go off-road through the Vargason Nature Trail, then into Austin Park and finishing back at the Firemen's Field Days. The registration will be held at the Field Days on the north end of the Pavilion near the baseball field. Participants must be 11 years of age as of 12/31/2013.

Race Packet Pick-up: 1:00pm – 7pm on Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Skaneateles Community Center or 2:30pm on Race Day at Firemen's Field Days. Registrations will also be accepted during these times. Race participants are responsible for picking up their own Race Packets — no exceptions please. Watch for information regarding off-site Packet Pick-up.

Awards: Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers. Age Group Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each category. You must be present to receive your awards. Awards cannot be sent to you – sorry.

Goodie Bags will be given to all participants including T-shirt and other items from our Sponsors.

Refund Policy
Due to the charitable nature of the event, we are unable to offer cash refunds. Athletes withdrawing for medical reasons shall provide written documentation before August 29, 2013 in order to apply this year's race fee to next year's event. If you must withdraw due to any other reason your entry fee will be considered a donation. We will provide you with a Donation Verification Letter if we receive your request in writing prior to August 31, 2013.
