Race Description: Limited to the first 750 registrants,
the Skinnyman Triathlon promises to draw some of the
area’s finest athletes as well as provide an opportunity
for
the beginning triathlete to “get their feet wet” and
experience
the excitement of this multi-sport event!
This year's Skinnyman Triathlon will have a wave start, grouped
by age group, not exceeding 150 swimmers/wave:
Wave assignment will be determined by final race numbers and
distribution of age group athletes.
T-shirts, latex swim caps, and goodie bag to each participant.
Race Packet Pick-up: All Skinnyman participants are strongly encouraged to pre-register
from 3 – 7pm on Friday, September
4th, 2009 at the Skaneateles Community Center.
Registration will also be available 6:30 – 7:00am on Race Day at
the
Clift Park Registration Tent.
Awards: Awards will be given out to the overall top
three male and female finishers.
Age group awards will be given to
the top three
finishers in each category.
You must be present to receive your awards.
Awards cannot be sent to you – sorry.
Parking: Parking will be prohibited on the South (Lakeside)
side of
Genesee Street and on West Lake Street. Parking will be available
on a first come first serve basis at all other village designated parking
spots
(metered and open lots). The north end of the Village lot (between
Jordan and State Street) will offer free all day parking.
The south end
of the village lot (near Genesee St.) has a two hour limit on
parking duration.
A USAT Sanctioned Event/CNY Race Series.
Annual USAT membership or one-day license required.
